FAQ's

I have questions, can you give me a call?

Text or Email is our preferred method of contact. Our job is 24 hours a day 7 days a week caring for our dogs and litters. We understand this is a big commitment and want everyone to be as comfortable as possible with us as a breeder. We have created a testimonials page and have social media channels that reflect how we run things for everyone interested to check out.
If you still have questions, we may be able to schedule a time to talk with you on the phone. Please note, that time will be limited, and be later in the evening as we also have young children.
We are happy to video chat families on our reservation list during selections or with their chosen puppy to say a quick “hello” before solidifying delivery or final payments. View our testimonials here!
Feel free to read over our “all about us” page to learn more about us and what our program is all about.

Can I visit your facility and meet your dogs before placing a deposit or picking my new puppy?

Our “facility” is our home. All of our puppies are raised where we live and therefore we do not permit visitors. We take safety for our family and puppies very seriously. Having frequent visitors puts our puppies at risk for coming in contact with various diseases/illnesses that can be fatal for their little bodies. Bio-security is extremely important here.
Our mamas may or may not not be available to be seen when coming to pick up your puppy. Usually, by the time we have puppy picks or go-home day, mamas are back with their Guardian Families.

Are Deposits non-refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable but may be considered for refund on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Because our focus is always on matching each puppy to the right home based on temperament and suitability, refunds will NOT be issued solely due to shade, markings, or gender preference. If your reserved litter does not produce a puppy that meets your selected gender or color preference, deposits may be transferred to a future litter.

How are your puppies raised?

Our puppies are raised with purpose and care through a structured program that blends Puppy Culture, Empowered Breeder, and our own custom socialization methods. From days 3–16, they participate in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) to support healthy development and adaptability. As they grow, we focus on intentional socialization and gradual exposure to new sights, sounds, and environments, helping each puppy become confident, well-mannered, and ready to thrive in their future home.

Are your dogs health tested?

The health of our sires and dams is extremely important to our breeding program. All of our parent dogs are health tested or in the process of completing their health testing.

Do you have transport options?

We offer several transport options to ensure your puppy arrives home safely and comfortably. For our flying families, we can meet at the Omaha, NE airport, and occasionally at the Des Moines, IA airport. When available, our private transport team can travel directly to you or meet within a reasonable distance via ground transport. We can also arrange a flight nanny if preferred. All airfare, airport meetups, and private or ground transport services are provided at the buyer’s expense.

What sizes do you work with?

We currently do not work with larger sizes in our program, but are looking to expand in the future.
Please note, adult weight and/or height at maturity cannot be guaranteed. Size ranges are provided for each litter based on our best estimate, the parent’s weights, and what they or their line have been known to produce.

Are Doodles Hypoallergenic and do they shed?

The short answer is no—there’s really no such thing as a 100% hypoallergenic dog. Some people are allergic to more than just fur, like a dog’s saliva or dander. That said, Doodles are known for being more allergy-friendly and tend to work well for people with mild to moderate pet allergies. If you or someone in your home has severe allergies, we highly recommend spending time around adult Doodles before joining our waitlist.
Our Doodles are considered low to non-shedding. While we can’t promise any dog will be completely non-shedding, our adult Doodles typically shed very little. F1B, F2B, and Multigenerational Doodles usually shed the least (if at all) and are often the best choice for families with stronger allergy concerns or worries about shedding. F1 Doodles are generally low shedding too and are often tolerated well by those with very mild allergies.

What is the difference between various generations of doodles?

We currently work with F2B, Ultra, and Multigenerational Doodles. A straight or wavy coat in a F1 or Ultra pairing can shed some (generally minimally and less than the originally shedding breed). A straight, wavy, or curly coat in an F2B/Multigen pairing is often low-non shedding. Any straight or wavy coat will require less maintenance than a curly coated Doodle.

F1B Doodle

F1 Doodle parent and a purebred Poodle Example: An F1 Bernedoodle x a purebred Poodle would make an F1B Bernedoodle 75/25 cross

F2 Doodle puppy

F1 Doodle and an F1 Doodle Example: An F1 Aussiedoodle x an F1 Aussiedoodle would make an F2 Aussiedoodle 50/50 cross

F2B Doodle

F1 Doodle parent and an F1B Doodle parent Example: An F1 Bernedoodle x an F1B Bernedoodle would make an F2B Bernedoodle 75/25 cross

Ultra Doodle

F1B or higher gen parent and a purebred parent Example: A multigenerational bernedoodle x a purebred Aussie would make an Ultra Australian Mountain Doodle. This percentage would be dependent on generations of parents, etc.

Multi-Gen Doodle

F1B or higher gen parent and an F1B or higher gen parent. Example: An F2 Bernedoodle x an F1B Bernedoodle would make a Multi-Gen Bernedoodle This percentage would be dependent on generations of parents, etc.

What are the grooming requirements for a Doodle?

Doodle puppies are relatively easy to maintain at first, but regular combing is important to help them get used to grooming before their adult coat comes in. Grooming is a lifelong commitment for a Doodle, so it’s best to start early. We recommend introducing at-home grooming right away, including blow-drying after baths to help prevent matting, and scheduling regular sanitary and face trims throughout puppyhood.
Once fully grown, Doodles typically need professional grooming every 6–8 weeks. At home, brushing should be done several times a week—or more often depending on coat type and length. Baths and blow-drying can be done every few weeks or as needed. If you’re not able or willing to commit to the time and cost of regular grooming for the life of your dog, a Doodle may not be the best fit for your family.

What is the total price?

Each of our color varieties are priced differently. Please view our pricing page for a breakdown of the total cost. Our deposit (non-refundable) is $500 which is included in the final purchase price.

What will my puppy come with/when will they be ready to leave?

Each puppy will go home with all health records (vaccination and de-worming schedule), and go-home bag. Puppies will be ready to leave at 8 weeks old and will have one set of vaccines prior to going home.

Do you sell adult/retired breeding dogs?

We don’t rehome our retirees. They live happily with either us or their guardian families who helped raise them. Learn more about our program here.
